Knight’s of Columbus Founder’s Day

On this day in 1882 the charter of the Knights of Columbus was approved by the State of Connecticut, legally incorporating the Order. The fraternal organization founded by Blessed Michael McGivney in New Haven now counts more than 2 million members worldwide, and March 29 is celebrated annually by the Order as Founder’s Day.
