NEW YORK STATE COUNCIL 2023 CHARITABLE & BENEVOLENT PROGRAM

It is time again for our annual New York State Council Charitable & Benevolent Program (commonly known as C & B).

This year’s prizes are again: $25,000.00 (Grand Prize), $10,000.00 (2nd Prize), $5,000.00 (3rd Prize), plus 10 additional $1,000.00 prizes. Winners will be drawn on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Villa Roma in Callicoon, NY (winners need not be present).

Prizes for sellers are $1,000 top prize, $500 second prize, $250 third, and an additional group of $100 fourth prizes. There are also two bonus prizes for sellers: a “Quick Start” drawing for those returning sold books to me by July 16. Prizes are $400, 250 and $100 each. An “Early Bird” drawing will be available to those who return books to me by September 16. Those prizes are $750, $500 and $250. Be sure to complete the back page of each book you buy or sell to be entered into these drawings.

As you may know, other than your annual dues, this is the only Council Program we ask all of our brothers to participate in by buying/selling at least one book.
Each book contains four (4) chances and the cost is a mere $3.00 per ticket or $10.00 per book. Our Council receives $4.00 for each book sold. We have mailed one book to each member to facilitate this sale or purchase.

All proceeds collected go to the charitable works of NYS Knights including NYS Dioceses, grants and scholarships for students attending Catholic Schools and Religious Education programs, Special Olympics and our own Council’s charitable endeavors.

If you want more books, please feel free to contact me (at the number or email below) and I will gladly fill your needs.

Those brothers who sell / purchase fifteen (15) or more books will have their annual membership dues waived for next year (for those of you who do not pay dues, a free ticket to one of our events).

Brothers, the success of this program depends on YOU so please consider contributing to this worthy cause. Make checks payable to Pope Pius XII Council # 4422 and mail it and the chance stubs back to the Council in the enclosed envelope or simply hand it in to any of the Council Officers, at one of our scheduled meetings or events.
